A massive drawer unit is clamped between two plates. In the top plate there is a recess. When the drawer block is extended, storage spaces in the top and sides of the drawer become accessible/accessible.

The extended drawer can also serve as a footstool when sitting in a seat.

The proportional system of the Swiss-born and Italian-born Baroque architect Francesco Borromini, 1599-1667, was used in the design process to investigate and test the proportions during the design process.
