Bibliotheek Renaet Braem

Restoration of a classified library designed by architect R. Braem (1969-1976).

The library of Schoten is the youngest classified monument in Flanders. It is a striking example of the period in Renaat Braem's oeuvre, during which he uses a distinctly organic formal language, following trends that began to criticize the dogmas of modernism.
