The starting point for the SPLIT chair was to develop a simple and comfortable chair using limited materials, techniques and manufacturing.

A simple form language was sought for the design, detached from existing trends so that the design remains relevant for several generations. In this way, it becomes a sustainable product.

No special production methods are required for manufacturing and the design lends itself to semi-industrial production. The chair is easily assembled with 10 bolts.

The seat profiles are mounted cantilevered on the legs. This gives the design a visual lightness. The cantilever also provides flexibility when sitting.
