Casimir chaise longue
The CASIMIR design forms the basis of the later JAPAN chaise longue.
The Casimir design has been extensively researched for an ideal position when reading or resting.
The P40 seating machine from Ovaldo Borsani, was a grateful aid in this. This study has translated into a light wooden frame made of plywood that is supported by a metal frame made of fine round bars. The lying position can be carried out with elastic webbing or leather.
